The project is aiming to initiate collaboration of V4 research teams with the purpose to discover clinically relevant molecules of Coxiella
burnetii, the causative agent of Q fever, using innovative immunoproteomic and metabolomic approaches. This objective can be achieved
by application of (i) infected sera collected during a recent outbreak of the disease, (ii) biofunctionalized magnetic microsphere technology
(iii) and advanced mass spectrometry detection of specific antigens/biomarkers.
